The SLD database project

This session will present progress of the SLD database project. The session will be a series of panel discussions on the following topics

  • Live presentation of SLD DB web interface
  • Example usage from other software with the python API and HTTP interface
  • How to present result data for neutrons/x-rays optimally for soft-/hard-matter (SLD unit etc.)
  • Database entries: possible columns; minimum columns; tag options
  • ORSO procedure for validating input data
  • If there’s time… Actual DB implementation, package, modules, classes, unit tests
